One last dying word
Etched into the stone
Covering the tomb
Of this blearing world
Momentous knowledge is discreetly worn and altered
By the collective that didn’t bother to reckon with the sense of true understanding
Mark my words: this lesson ! Will be learned the
Hardest way you can imagine
All you can do is
Stand still and
PRAY
The cycle keeps repeating
Mind over matter beating
Slowest pulse there is
Just waiting for a fix
But instead of ! The hunger lingers
More than it should
Consuming
Humanity
WHOLE
Moreover
You’re only used to generate
Confusion and hate
Instead of seeing further than
Your eyes can perceive
Perpetuator of lies and deceit
Forcing his way among this populace
Confused from the very beginning of knowledge
Their faded eyes will slowly waste away

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego

This is so much like Morbid Angel, it's uncanny. In fact, it's better than anything Morbid Angel has put out in years. Bone-crushing and bleak, it's reminiscent of Gateways to Annihilation. fyeahmetal

The drummer for Nile...so this is hyper fast technical death metal. Greco-Roman rather than Egyptian. I like this more than Nile, because I do not dig ultra-low vocals. Super technical, but produced well enough that it is clear and comprehensible. MindOverFour
