As the flame draws
It’s last breath from the
Fire that burned in your memory
Slowly but surely, you all disappear
One by one, causing my mind to
Wonder, relentless, step aside !
No field of clear vision paving my way
Dark footsteps advance as I’m trying to run
I’d rather evade than face all faces that will forever submit to these changes
Never Again !
When the time comes you have to think clear
Even if time is absent and the heart is
Not Your Own - NOT YOUR OWN
Although this fragile mold is strong
Your human mind is surely dragging you down
When, When are you going to realize it
Reaching the gutter first
Is not as bad
As losing the one you loved
Permanent gap
Remember this exact moment
And every thought and plot that you played
Inside your head or even worse
Your soul where everything is dead
For the sake of the moment
Do your best and pretend that
There something human left inside of you
As the flame draws
It’s last breath from the
Fire that burned in your
memory
Slowly but surely
You all disappear
One by one
Causing my mind to
Wonder, relentless, step aside !
No field of clear vision paving my way
Dark footsteps advance as i’m trying to run
I’d rather evade than face all faces that will forever remain the same

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego

This is so much like Morbid Angel, it's uncanny. In fact, it's better than anything Morbid Angel has put out in years. Bone-crushing and bleak, it's reminiscent of Gateways to Annihilation. fyeahmetal

The drummer for Nile...so this is hyper fast technical death metal. Greco-Roman rather than Egyptian. I like this more than Nile, because I do not dig ultra-low vocals. Super technical, but produced well enough that it is clear and comprehensible. MindOverFour
